The Eagle Tire Debeader removes the beads from radial truck tires. Operation of the unit makes it a natural for shredding operations. Removal of the bead wire prior to shredding allows for a cleaner end product and provides less wear on the moving parts of the shredder. This not only provides a smooth shredding operation, but also cuts down on expensive maintenance down time.

Units available are stationary or portable with either electric or diesel engines.

Through the debeading process, wire (shown above and left) is pulled clean from the tires.

Advantages of de-beading
your tires before shredding:

  1. Reduce the amount of money spent on blade reconditioning or replacement costs by 50%.

  2. Reduce lost production time for blade replacement by 50%.

  3. Reduce power consumption by your shredder by 25%.

  4. Improve the number of tires your shredder will process per hour.

  5. Provide an additional income source with the sale of the recycled steel pulled out of the tires. The average tire yields about 8 to 10 lbs of steel. This income will go a long way toward paying for the debeading process.

  6. Improves the value of the tire shred because the steel is removed.
